Joy and Ginny – Mums and Bubs
At Calvary John James I, Joy Horsham
I wanted to become a volunteer because I wanted to help mothers in their self-care that the hospital encourages with these exercise classes.
My favourite thing about volunteering is the social interaction – though it can be quite tiring after looking after 10 babies!
My inspiration is the staff.
My biggest surprise about volunteering is how much fun it is. We do have a good laugh.
My advice to someone who is thinking about volunteering at Calvary John James is – come and join the team. You won’t regret it!
