Calvary Lenah Valley Hospital sits on Augusta Road, between Honora Avenue and Raluana Lane.

Entrance to the main hospital is on Augusta Road.

Entrance to our Emergency department is on Honora Avenue.

Patient drop off
There is a patient drop off area at the entrance of Calvary Lenah Valley Hospital. At the front entrance, off Augusta Road there are set down and pick-up areas for patients with a 15 minute time limit. Please move your car to the general car park after the patient has safely arrived. Parking is not allowed in these locations, so please move your vehicle after the patient has safely arrived.

There is limited on-site parking available at the hospital and in adjacent streets.

Disability parking bays can be found in every car park and are located closest to the pedestrian access ways.

If you are in the car park and need assistance getting to or from the hospital, please call 03 6278 5333.

A taxi phone is available at reception and the average wait time is less than 15 minutes.

We have bicycle racks at the base of the ramp at the rear of the hospital.

Public transport

If you are coming to or from the Lenah Valley Campus by bus the following bus routes pass directly outside the front entrance.

Patient travel assistance scheme

The State Government’s Patient Travel Assistance Scheme (PTAS) provides financial help with travel and/or accommodation costs to Tasmanian residents who need to travel:

  • more than 50 km (one way) to the nearest oncology or dialysis treatment centre

  • more than 75 km (one way) to the nearest appropriate specialist medical service

  • more than 75 km (one way) to access lymphoedema treatment

Veterans transport

Some veteran patients may be eligible to have transport arranged for them through the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA).
